Meet Riley
Riley Gallivan (she/her) is a vocal coach and board-certified music therapist passionate about helping others connect with their voice—both musically and emotionally. Whether you're here to refine your vocal technique or explore music as a tool for healing, Riley brings a compassionate, energetic, and person-centered approach to every session.
As a voice teacher, Riley supports singers across all genres—including classical, musical theater, jazz, pop, soul, and rock. She strives to help each student unlock their freest and healthiest voice, with lessons focused on building confidence, deepening self-awareness, and finding joy in the process of music-making. With over five years of vocal coaching experience, Riley works with singers of all levels to develop vocal technique and artistry.
As a music therapist, Riley partners with clients to support empowerment, connection, and healing through music. Her clinical work is grounded in neuroscience, person-centered therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming practice. She believes each client is the expert in their own experience and is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients can show up exactly as they are. Riley has experience working with individuals of all ages in acute care hospitals, mental health treatment centers, rehabilitation settings, PreK–12 schools, assisted living facilities, and private practice.
Riley holds a Master of Music in Music Therapy from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Vocal Performance from Boston University. She has also studied classical voice at the Royal College of Music in London. Riley is an active musician and performs with bands, choirs, musical theater productions, and contemporary a cappella groups.
Outside of music-making, Riley enjoys hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, and cuddling with her 11-year-old terrier mix, Cindy
